Dr.Tamara Moise DO
Dr. Moise was born and raised in New York and received her undergraduate degree in Sociology from the University of Virginia. She obtained her medical degree from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey – School of Osteopathic Medicine and completed her emergency medicine residency in 2009 at St. Joseph’s Regional Medical Center in Paterson, New Jersey. She has most recently worked as an attending emergency physician at Lutheran Medical Center (now NYU Langone Hospital – Brooklyn) and Brookdale University Hospital Medical Center in Brooklyn.
Dr. Moise co-founded Big Apple with the vision of providing medical services tailored to the diversity of New York City. As the daughter of Haitian immigrants, she is especially understanding of the needs of patients in underserved and immigrant communities and is passionate about serving those communities. Her passion extends globally, as she has done medical volunteer work in Guatemala and Haiti.
