What is your faith-based business and what services/products do you offer?
My faith-based business, Brigitte O’Michaels, LLC, is committed to supporting individuals on their journey to developing strong leadership skills, overcoming overwhelm, dismantling obstacles, conquering self-doubt, and harnessing their unique strengths to the throne of success. The central focus revolves around three crucial areas: money, mindset, and man (relationships). The book, “Gurl, Fix Your Crown, ” is at the heart of my support services,” a guide deeply rooted in Christian principles and tailored specifically for women. I offer various support services to organizations and individuals, including leadership training, personalized coaching, DISC assessments, mental health masterclasses, workshops, women empowerment programs, retreats, consulting, and online courses. These support mechanisms aim to assist individuals in building a robust financial foundation, fostering a positive mindset, and navigating healthy relationships. Ultimately, my business is dedicated to supporting women as they align their lives with Christian values while actively pursuing success and fulfillment in the real world.
What was the catalyst for starting your business?
The catalyst for launching my business, Brigitte O’Michaels, LLC, took place in April 2017—a pivotal moment that signaled the end of my 18-year abusive marriage. This marked the beginning of my mission to help people on a larger scale, especially those who, like me, were shattered by similar circumstances. The aftermath left me grappling with feelings of abandonment, disillusionment, and profound loneliness. I did not want to raise my children alone, and divorce was never a part of my life plan when I was dreaming it all up. Society often tells us to tough it out and do it or GO THROUGH IT. But when we reach a point where we no longer understand what “it” even means, we’re left with pain, frustration, anger, bitterness, unforgiveness, resentment, and a lot of negative stuff for one person. Now, through my organization and programs, I help others go through “it.” I aim to provide unwavering support and guidance, helping individuals cope with and overcome the difficulties associated with divorce, abuse, and life’s unexpected turns.
Why is faith as a foundation for your business important?
Faith is the compass that guides us through the storms of life and the anchor that keeps us steady when the wind of uncertainty blows. As the Bible says, ‘Without faith, it’s impossible to please God.’ From the core of my existence, built on God since age 5, I live my life through the lens of my values, where faith takes precedence. This steers me through life’s darkest moments and provides a solid moral and ethical framework for my business. Grounding every service, product, and interaction in faith ensures alignment with values prioritizing compassion, integrity, and empathy. Making faith the foundation of my business provides a universal language that transcends diverse backgrounds and experiences. By embracing a foundation rooted in faith, my business becomes inclusive, welcoming individuals from various walks of life who seek guidance and support.
