Name

Dr. Kia Conerway

What is the name of your business?

I own a consulting company under my name – it’s being updated to reflect my newly married name this month.

All About Dr. Kia

Kia Conerway is a consultant & strategist for churches and non-profits with 12 years of experience creating campaigns that raise money for organizations. Conerways doctoral work raised nearly $500,000 in a single weekend for the largest church in the Mid-South region. The funds will be used to plant the 6th church that she has helped to launch in the last decade. She is currently building a completely virtual church, as well. Moore also serves as Founding Pastor for the Church At The Well, a two-year-old church that has been able to fund nearly $250,000 in missions due to her fundraising strategy. The church has grown to nearly 500 members in a short time and continues to challenge the traditional concept of church, missions, outreach and fundraising. Recently, Moore served the Biden Campaign’s African American Faith team by helping to lead local, state and national calls with clergy & denominational leaders. That role allowed her to field national radio interviews with RadioOne stations & craft communications strategy for outlets that reach black women. She has presented countless presentations on behalf of the White House & recently traveled to discuss budgets for predominantly African American neighborhoods to his senior staff. While her national work is remarkable, her local work is of chief importance. Conerway shifted the digital strategy for the most watched District Attorney’s race in Memphis, leading Steve Mulroy to win and was also responsible for the launch and digital strategy for Memphis Mayor-Elect, Paul Young.

How can someone subscribe to your newsletter?

They can email admin@wemakewells.org

Where do you see yourself in 10 years in your business?

I pray that I get to shape parts of the next two Presidential elections.

What website can someone find out more information about you?

WEMAKEWELLS.org – this is my church website. Believe it or not, because of the limited and high-level clients I serve, I do not advertise my consulting business. All clients must be referred from previous clients.

What is your Instagram username and/or URL?

@drkiamoore

How would you define your 2023 in business and what are you looking forward to in 2024?

Favor! God opened doors for me after such heartbreak and loss that I can’t even begin to describe it. In the pandemic, I was divorced, completed my doctorate and got re-married…all while growing a church & serving the White House. God does all things well!
