In order to nurture the strength and confidence that services my voice, I always remind myself who I am and whose I am. I know that I am the King’s Kid and my identity is rooted in God. Because I have understanding of this, I am able to operate in my boldness. And the days that are more challenging for me to see the bigger picture, I meditate on scriptures that affirm me and I speak life over myself. I also remind myself about how far I have come and focus on the present moment in my life.
