If Loving Me Is Wrong I Don’t Want To Be Right

If Loving Me Is Wrong I Don’t Want To Be Right

I know this is a Luther Ingram song I just put my own little twisted on it. Many times as women we are in such high demands from our personal life to our business life, the reason being? We are multitaskers and superheroes in our own rights. We can handle any situation possible like second nature and a blink of an eye the task is complete. The world knows us to be so good that it relies more on female energy as it relies on oxygen.

As women we can get in the mode of saving everyone else and forsake the most important person in the mirror, you or should I say her. We all have a little girl inside of us who needs to be love in her innocence and most vulnerable place even though now we are grown women living in the hustle of everyday life but who loves the woman standing in the mirror? The woman who loves and empowers others with her every fiber? The woman who sacrificed her smile to make others laugh, who loves her right?  Instead of waiting for others take notice, why don’t you take notice for her? Love her from depths of your soul to the tops of your toes.

This is about self-care or should I say self-love which is more than spa trips, nails, feet, and hair done it’s about the internal work. Don’t get me wrong there is nothing wrong with taking time out to pamper yourself but when you working on the inside it reflects on the outside. Self-love is taking the time to love you in your most vulnerable state and living your life in the most authentic way you know how with no apologies. Put it in these terms, your journey your terms.

This can be difficult to live a happy loving I am taking care of myself life because the demands placed on women to compete against one another are at a high level, people can make you feel guilty for living your best life and sometimes we question our existence. I encourage you to take a stand to love you in all your fabulous flaws and all.

Take every day you are forward to open your eyes to a brand new day to say at least 10 things that describe the most beautiful woman in your world, you. Fill her up with what you fill others up with unconditional love, gratitude for your existence and the joy to love the woman standing in the mirror. Who cares about the imperfections, name one perfect person, I doubt if you can find that person. Guess what? They don’t exist!

So, if loving me is wrong I don’t want to be right is the new 2019 motto. Think of it this way, if your cup is not full with love for you, her the woman in the mirror, how can you love others?  Fill your cup up first, then the others will get the overflow. Trust, people would rather have the overflow versus the residue.

Take your loving to the NEXT Level by loving the woman in the mirror first, is the best love ever.
